Acceptable use and abuse reports
Do not use a Dots name for phishing, credential theft, malware, botnets, command and control, pharming, harmful impersonation, spam delivery, illegal content, threats, harassment, non-consensual intimate content, child sexual abuse material, fraud, or attempts to evade another service's enforcement. Do not misrepresent your right to use a protected brand or a person's identity.
This public summary does not replace the versioned acceptable-use terms shown at checkout.
Send reports to abuse@dots.to or use the public abuse form. Include
the full hostname, what happened, relevant time and timezone, and safe supporting
URLs or evidence metadata. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card data,
or illegal content as an attachment.
We issue a case reference without confirming private customer details. Reports are triaged by severity. Dots may preserve evidence metadata, place a hold, disable DNS, request more information, notify the customer where safe, restore after review, or terminate the lease. Urgent suspension is reversible; restoration is separately reviewed and audited. Customers can use the appeal route included in a notice.
Dots may act on harms broader than the narrow ICANN contractual definition of DNS abuse because Dots directly controls its parent domains.
